WOW Allied races have received loads of changes in Shadowlands Pre-Patch, including customization options. Most importantly, Exalted reputation is no longer the requirement for unlocking Allied races. 

WOW Allied race unlocking changes: Exalted reputation removed 

It has been confirmed that Shadowlands Pre-patch has removed the Exalted reputation requirement for unlocking Allied races. Now it's easier to unlock the races with the following requirements: 
1. Void Elf: You Are Now Prepared! 
2. Lightforged Draenei: You Are Now Prepared! 
3. Nightborne: Insurrection 
4. Highmountain Tauren: Ain't No Mountain High Enough 
5. Dark Iron Dwarf: Ready for War 
6. Mag'har Orc: Ready for War 
7. Zandalari Troll: Zandalar Forever!, Tides of Vengeance 
8. Kul Tiran: A Nation United, Tides of Vengeance 
9. Mechagon: The Mechagonian Threat 
10. Vulpera: Secrets in the Sands 

More customization options for WOW Allied races 

In Shadowlands Pre-Patch, there are more customization options for Allied races, like: 
1. Void Elves now have new eye colors and all the same skin tones as Blood Elves. 
2. Mag'har Orcs receive new eye colors, including bright orange, earrings, piercings, necklaces resembling the new Orc options, and tusk customization.
3. Vulpera receive new eye colors, including blind options and the ability to customize their fur texture separately. 
4. Nightborne has a new Plated earring option. 
5. Zandalari accessories have been split out into different categories, like piercings, ear gauge and necklace. 
6. Highmountain Tauren tattoos are split into paint and tattoo style. They also have a new earring option. 
7. Mechagnome skin color and paint job are split out. Mechagnomes also have the same new skin tones as Gnomes. 
8. Lightforged Draenei tendrils are customized separately from their face. 
9. A bald option for all races.
