WOW Classic TBC New Changes: How the Burning Crusade Will Be Different From The Original
World of Warcraft the Burning Crusade was the first expansion of WOW gameplay, which will be released on WOW Classic that leaks have pointed to it arriving on 4 May. There are some changes (New Level Cap, New Dungeons, and New Races) coming to the new expansion, let's take a look!
What WoW: Burning Crusade Classic Is Changing
New Races for both Factions
One of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic's biggest changes comes in the form of allowing players to create Blood Elf and Draenei characters prior to the expansion's official launch. This will give players time to level their characters up to 60 before Burning Crusade's release, an option not available back in the day.
New Level Cap
With a new level cap, players can expect to pick up brand new spells from their Class Trainers on their way to level 70. In addition, talent trees for each class are extended, to include new 41-point talents. This is quite a significant change for many classes, as the new Spells and Talents breathe new life into many classes. Below is a list of some standout examples of new Talents and new abilities for classes.
•Crusader Strike for Retribution Paladins - Crusader Strike is the 41 point talent in the Retribution Talent Tree and is used on cooldown for Retribution Paladins.
•Vampiric Touch for Shadow Priests - Vampiric Touch is the 41 point talent in the Shadow Talent Tree and is the sole reason Shadow Priests are a must-have in raid compositions.
•Steady Shot and Kill Command for Hunters - Hunters learn Steady Shot at level 62 and Kill Command at level 66. Both of these abilities kind of re-invent the damage rotation for Hunters, becoming their primary two abilities for all of The Burning Crusade.
•Bloodlust for Shamans - Shamans learn this ability at level 70, and boy is this one an absolute game changer! Bloodlust is without a doubt one of the most iconic Shaman abilities and an extremely powerful one!
Several bosses were bugfixed
Several bosses were bugfixed or nerfed in Burning Crusade, but players might be interested in trying their hand at fights in their far more challenging forms. For instance, Lady Vashj -- the final encounter in Serpentshrine Cavern -- was incredibly difficult to kill when she was first released, before a nerf made her more reasonable. But Blizzard will let her launch in her pre-nerf form so guilds that want a challenge can try their hand at that, before eventually bringing the nerf into effect.
New Dungeons and Raids
Dungeons introduced with The Burning Crusade have two difficulty options; normal and heroic difficulty. In order to unlock the heroic level of a dungeon, players will need to be level 70 and achieve other objectives. While the challenge at heroic difficulty is much greater, the rewards also scale up accordingly.
