WOW Scourge Invasion not live at start of Shadowlands pre-patch 

It has been confirmed that one of the highlights of the Shadowlands pre-patch, Scourge Invasion event, will not come at the beginning of the Shadowlands pre-patch launch. Like all past pre-expansion events, Scourge Invasion will go live shortly after the release of pre-patch event. 
Although there is no specific date of Scourge Invasion event, when the Shadowlands pre-patch is released, you can try out all of the class changes, customization options, and revamped leveling experience including Exile's Reach

What to do in WOW Scourge Invasion event? 

Scourge Invasion event will come back with zombie invasions in capital cities and familiar bosses to Icecrown. When it is launched, you will be required to defend Azeroth from an undead invasion because the Scourge will sweep across the land. Starting with a quest, you can complete it to establish a foothold in Icecrown where the barrier between Azeroth and the afterlife has been shattered, and prepare for the upcoming journey into the Shadowlands. What's more, the Death's Rising event will also allow you to obtain catch-up gear for alts, turn into zombies, acquire special collectibles and farm the 34-slot bag Papa's Mint Condition Bag.
